The course will also explore the features, functions, and benefits of the Daikin Altherma product line. Training attendees will learn about suggested Daikin Altherma applications along with corresponding case studies. |
Daikin Altherma Install & Commissioning | The Daikin Altherma Install & Commissioning course is intended to provide an overview of Daikin AC's advanced heating and cooling technologies and available products for residential and light commercial applications. The course will also explore installation, commissioning and service techniques. Training attendees will learn the methods and procedures involved, identify and discuss all tools and materials required. |
VRV COURSES

VRV Install & Commissioning | To introduce the participant to the Daikin VRV family of HVAC systems, provide an overview of VRV product and technology, review installation procedures, controls wiring and DIII Net communications, and commissioning procedures. This class is available as a one day lecture-based course or as a two day course with hands on activities. |
VRV Service & Troubleshooting | To understand the basic operation principles at each stage of operation, review wiring schematics, VRV components, demonstrate refrigerant flow and how to use for diagnostics, review advanced field settings, and advanced troubleshooting using Daikin Service Checker. This class is available as a one day lecture-based course or as a two day course with hands on activities. |
VRV Service Checker | To introduce participants to the Daikin Service Checker and what it can do to help diagnose problems with VRV systems, advanced troubleshooting using the Daikin Service Checker. Includes hands on activities and practice. |
VRV Product & Applications | To introduce participants to the commercial product line including Daikin controls, features, functions and benefits, competitive comparisons, product positioning, applications and case studies, and software selection tools. |
Applications: Selection Tools | To introduce participants to Daikin’s software selection tools including TRL, VRV Xpress, and EnergyCalc. Includes hands-on activities and practice. Available only upon request. |

Controls Install & Commissioning | Introduce participants to product line, installation requirement, centralized controller startup and commissioning procedures, theory – 100% hands on. |
Controls Integrator | Provide participants with an overview of VRV systems and Daikin DIII-Net architecture; review individualized controllers, changeover master and remote control groups, remote controller sensors, indoor unit sequence of operation, multi-zone controllers, integration with BMS systems – BACnet & Lonworks, and integration strategies. |

Daikin Web Based Training (WBT) | Our highly-acclaimed Web-Based Training (WBT) is available for you to login when you are ready. The course(s) selected can be retrieved with a few small strokes on your keyboard 24-hours a day, seven days a week. |
Online Instructor-Led (OLIL) | We offer quarterly 1 to 2 hour training sessions via webinars. Each session is hosted by an experienced Daikin AC staff member. You can visit our website www.daikinac.com to register for one or all of the classes. |

We are also an approved provider of continuing education in New York, Florida, South Carolina and Louisiana. Daikin AC University provides a certificate of completion that includes PDH hours for all attendees of qualified training courses. |
